1. Acceptance of Terms & Standard EULA

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using The Wireline App (the "Application"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service, the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these terms or the mandatory technical advisory disclaimer below, do not use the Application for downhole oilfield operations or well engineering calculations.

2. Mandatory Technical Advisory Disclaimer

Mandatory Advisory Notice (AchiraWare Electronics)

"There are too many variables involved when choosing weakpoint strength to make definitive recommendations. The information calculated by this software is purely advisory in nature. In no event shall Achiraware have liability for damages, including but not limited to, consequential damages arising out of or in connection with any person’s use or inability to use the information in this document, please refer always to the company’s updated procedures."

This advisory notice governs all algorithmic modules within the software without exception. Calculated results represent theoretical engineering approximations.

3. Exclusive Wellsite Operator Responsibility

Critical Wellbore Validation: The field engineer, wireline specialist, and operator in charge of the wellsite are exclusively responsible for confirming all calculated outputs against the operating company's active Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety policies, and specific well conditions.

Key operational considerations include:

  • Dynamic Downhole Conditions: Temperature deration, cable fatigue, dogleg severity, wellbore friction in deviated trajectories, and non-Newtonian fluid rheology significantly affect actual pulling tension and breaking thresholds.
  • Safety Factors: The application provides a default configurable safety factor (80% standard pull limit). The user is solely responsible for determining and verifying the appropriate safety factor for each job.
  • Custom Cable Spool Data: When field personnel enter custom cable manufacturer parameters or attach spool tag photos, the accuracy and validity of that data rests entirely with the person logging the entry.

4. In-App Purchases (StoreKit Non-Consumable License)

The Application provides an optional PRO tier unlock:

  • One-Time Lifetime Purchase: Unlocks advanced features and unlimited PDF report generation permanently without forced recurring subscriptions.
  • Apple StoreKit Processing: All transactions are billed through the user's Apple ID. AchiraWare Electronics never accesses or stores credit card numbers.
  • Restoring Purchases: Users can reactivate their license across compatible iOS, iPadOS, and macOS devices tied to the same Apple ID using the "Restore Purchases" button in Settings.
  • Refunds: All refund requests are governed by Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions via reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. Intellectual Property & License Grant

AchiraWare Electronics grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Application on authorized Apple devices. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive the source code of the Application.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall AchiraWare Electronics, its founders, or contractors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages (including, without limitation, downhole fishing costs, stuck tools, lost rig time, casing damage, or production interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the Application.
